Are my deposit accounts covered by FDIC Insurance?

Yes –Hamilton Bank is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Deposits are fully insured by FDIC up to the Standard Maximum Deposit Insurance Amount of $250,000.00. What is the grace period on my certificate of deposit?

The grace period on all certificate of deposit accounts is 7 days after the day of maturity.

What is the penalty on my certificate of deposit if I withdrawal any of the principal balance prior to maturity?

There is a penalty equal to 1 month’s interest on certificates with a term less than 6 months.
There is a penalty equal to 3 month’s interest on certificates with a term 6 months – 12 months.
There is a penalty equal to 6 month’s interest on certificate with a term greater than 12 months.

How do I wire funds to another financial institution?

You can have your funds wire transferred to an international or domestic bank account by visiting your nearest branch and completing the required paperwork.

For a domestic wire transfer you will need to know the ABA/Routing Number for the depository bank to which you want to send the funds in order to process the transfer along with the Beneficiary’s Name (person receiving the funds), Address and Account Number at the depository bank. There is an Outgoing Domestic Wire Fee of $20.00.

For an international wire transfer you will need to know the SWIFT code and CHIPS number for the depository bank to which you want to send the funds in order to process the transfer along with the Beneficiary’s Name (person receiving the funds), Address and Account Number at the depository bank. There is an Outgoing International Wire Fee of $50.00.
